Happy Fourth of July from New Legacy!

As we celebrate the freedom our nation enjoys this Independence Day, we're also reminded of another kind of freedom only Christ can give. Every day at New Legacy, we witness women being set free from addiction, shame, trauma, fear, and the weight of their past. We are so grateful for the freedom we celebrate as Americans, but even more thankful for the freedom found in Christ. We could use a little help! One of our goals in this season is to help more people discover New Legacy and hear the incredible stories of transformation happening here. There are miracles taking place every single day, and we don't want them to stay a secret! Here are a few simple ways you can help:Like, comment on, and share our Facebook and Instagram posts. Every interaction helps put New Legacy in front of new people.Invite us to speak to your church, Bible study, civic club, business, Sunday School class, or community organization.Schedule a tour of New Legacy for your small group, workplace, or friends. There is nothing like seeing the ministry in person.Introduce us to a business owner, employer, pastor, or community leader who should know about New Legacy.Tell someone about New Legacy. Your personal recommendation is one of the most powerful ways people discover our ministry.Together, we can help even more women find hope, healing, and a second chance! We had such a fun week! One evening, our ladies enjoyed a wonderful swim and dinner at Joe and Christy's home. We treasure these moments of simply enjoying life together. Our ladies also spent time delivering small blessings and praying with people. It continues to be one of our favorite things to do, and it is always received with such gratitude. This week, they had the opportunity to bless several of our graduates. Care Teams continue to be one of the greatest gifts to our ministry. We could not do what we do without each of you. Today, several ladies who didn't have plans were lovingly "adopted" for the day by members of their Care Teams and taken out to spend quality time together. Those moments are absolutely priceless. One especially heartwarming moment this week was watching Trey Lynn and Michelle, who both shared the wonderful Karen as part of their Care Teams, spent time visiting her together. People matter. Relationships matter. Loving one another matters. We believe God smiles when His people care for one another so well.  And in other news...Willow decided she wasn't interested in waiting any longer and welcomed SEVEN beautiful puppies into the world! In a few weeks you can stop by and get some puppy snuggles. With immense gratitude, Shanna Hargrave
